Bio Thomas
Thomas Verbraken studied Civil Engineering at the K.U.Leuven and graduated cum laude in June 2007. After his studies, he worked as a researcher at the Traffic Engineering department of the K.U.Leuven and at MSCI Inc., a leading provider of investment decision support tools. Currently, he is also enrolled in the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program and passed the level II exam in June 2010.
In February 2010, he returned to the K.U. Leuven to start as a PhD student at the faculty of Business and Economics, department of Decision Sciences. At this moment, his research focuses on churn prediction in the mobile phone sector and credit scoring in the financial industry.
